An imbalance of Th1/Th2 and Th17/Treg has been observed in allergic patients.3 Furthermore, our previous study demonstrated that SJMHE1 treatment can induce CD4+CD25+Tregs to suppress DTH responses16 and alleviate CIA in mice.17 In the present study, whether SJMHE1 suppresses airway inflammation and modulates cytokine production in allergic mice by regulating the Th subsets during treatment was examined. Here, CD4 is linked to inflammatory response.
