NUT midline carcinoma (NMC) is a rare and aggressive subset of squamous cell carcinoma, which is characterized by the translocation of nuclear protein in testis (NUT) gene that is mostly fused with bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) family proteins, such as BRD3 and BRD4 [1], generating BRD3-NUT and BRD4-NUT, respectively. Here, BRD4 is linked to nut midline carcinoma.
