Variants in toll-like receptor (TLR) 4 (rs55030728), FC fragment of IgG receptor IIIa (FCGR3A, rs396991), tumour necrosis factor receptor superfamily 1A (TNFRS1A, rs4149570), interferon-gamma (IFNγ, rs2439561), interleukin-6 (IL-6, rs10499563) and interleukin-1B (IL-1B, rs4848306) were related to improved treatment response to anti-TNF in IBD, whereas TLR2 and TLR9 SNPs rs3804099 and rs352139, respectively, were linked to a weaker response [82]. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and inflammatory bowel disease.
