In the present study, after inoculation, upregulation of CAT (TRINITY_DN54558_c0_g1_m.24460), thioredoxin F-type (TRINITY_DN60144_c1_g1_m.27160), glutaredoxin (TRINITY_DN76625_c2_g1_m.37007) and glutathione peroxidase 2 (TRINITY_DN87504_c2_g4_m.51737, TRINITY_DN53600_c0_g2_m.24082) were only found in BABA+ (Table S3), indicating that the upregulation of these proteins could contribute to BABA-primed antioxidant defenses in response to pathogen infection. This evidence concerns the gene CAT and infection.
