However, in the compound C group, we clearly observed that compound C led to significant reductions in expressions of NLRP3 inflammasome-associated proteins (NLRP3 and cleaved caspase-1), indicating that NLRP3 inflammasome inhibition is one of the main mechanisms through which compound C exerts its effect in attenuating NAFLD.
