CD4 and experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis: While rapamycin can inhibit the differentiation of Th17 cells and promote the proliferation and the differentiation of Treg cells, such as in vitro and in vivo in kidney transplant recipients [15], a murine CD4+ T cell transfer model of colitis and an experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model [16] and CCl4-induced liver fibrosis [17].
