AKT1 and cancer: The genes co-expressed with ANXA8 identified using the cBioPortal database were subjected to functional and pathway enrichment analyses, and the results indicated that they are mainly involved in biological processes, such as cell migration, cell adhesion, angiogenesis, and inflammatory responses, as well as in regulating various cancer related signaling pathways, such as PI3K-Akt, focal adhesion, and proteoglycans in cancer, thereby affecting the tumorigenesis and progression of ovarian cancer.
