SNHG1 and cancer: Overexpression of RICTOR has already been observed in several cancers, including colorectal, prostate, hepatocellular, and pancreatic.36, 37, 38, 39 In addition, two independent studies have demonstrated that RICTOR overexpression may indicate poorer prognosis.37, 39 Future studies may prove that combined RICTOR and SNHG1 expression may facilitate more precise prognostication in CRC.40
