High expression of RUNX3 was associated with ovarian cancer [24] as well as with poor histologic differentiation, metastasis, and invasion in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma [25], with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma [26] and basal cell carcinoma [27], with childhood acute myeloid leukaemia [28], and with inflammatory breast [29] and gastric cancers [30, 31]. The gene discussed is RUNX3; the disease is gastric cancer.
