Currently, there are three combinations of RAF and MEK inhibitors approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) for patients with BRAF V600E/K mutations in advanced or metastatic melanoma, NSCLC, or anaplastic thyroid cancer: vemurafenib/cobimetinib (Genentech), dabrafenib/trametinib (Novartis), and encorafenib/binimetinib (Array BioPharma). This evidence concerns the gene RAF1 and metastatic melanoma.
