Data analysis revealed 3935 genes that were significantly (log2Ratio| ≥ 1, q < 0.05) differentially expressed, relative to wild-type Reh controls, in Reh cells with ectopic expression of NR3C1. Pathway analysis revealed a remarkable abundance of gene signatures involved in pathways in cancer, DNA replication, mismatch repair, P53 signalling, cell cycle and apoptosis regulated by NR3C1 (Fig. 4a). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and cancer.
