Since p53 mutations are predominant driver mutations in numerous carcinomas, such as lung carcinoma, breast carcinoma, brain neoplasm, colorectal carcinoma, esophageal carcinoma, and ovarian carcinoma [32,33], screening of p53 mutations as a key predictive factor for the abscopal effect may be important in actual clinical practice. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and carcinoma of esophagus.
