HLA-G and melanoma: In our study, we used the metastatic melanoma cell lines A375-M6, WM266-4 and M21 as glycolytic addicted cells; in addition, we used the melanoma cell line FO-1, as cells which do not express HLA class I antigens, and the β2-microglobulin-transfected counterpart (FO-1β2) which re-acquires HLA class I antigen expression following transfection with wild-type β2 microglobulin cDNA.
