In the tissue samples, the CDH1 and PAX1 gene methylation indices had increasing tendency toward OC, with statistically significant difference between controls (24.22 ± 6.93 for CDH1 and 5.73 ± 2.19 for PAX1) and OCs (39.06 ± 18.78 and 13.55 ± 10.65) in both genes, and also between controls (5.73 ± 2.19) and BC-OC samples (22.90 ± 13.56) in the PAX1 gene. This evidence concerns the gene CDH1 and breast cancer.
