GSK3B and hydrops fetalis: HF rats displayed decreased level of β-catenin (100.0 ± 6.3 vs. 79.1 ± 4.3% of sham; Sham vs. HF, respectively; p<0.05, Figure 8A and 8B) along with reduced level of phosphorylated GSK-3β (phospho-Ser-9) (100.0 ± 4.8 vs. 62.9 ± 5.9% of sham; Sham vs. HF, respectively; p<0.05, Figure 8A and 8D) suggesting an increased activity of the GSK-3β enzymatic complex.
