Interestingly, compared with SOMK transduction, SOMKP transduction significantly increased both HF-iPSC colony formations, from 50.67 ± 3.84 to 79 ± 8.02 (P < 0.05; Fig. 5a, b), and increased the expression levels of the endogenous OCT4, LIN28, SOX2, and NANOG genes (P < 0.05, P < 0.01; Fig. 5e). The gene discussed is POU5F1; the disease is hydrops fetalis.
