ENTPD7 and neoplasm: In order to study the mechanism underlying the inhibition of ENTPD7 on lung cancer cells, we reviewed previous research, though only a few papers focused on the direct effect of ENTPD7 on tumor cell apoptosis or proliferation, ENTPD7, as an enzyme that regulates nucleotide levels, was shown to have a function of modulating ATP, which in turn regulates the transduction of signals for phosphorylation of proteins in signaling pathways [24, 25].
