Correlating the miRNA and mRNA expression data using IPA’s miRNA target filter, we found the top disease-associated pathways affected by JM6 treatment (e.g. axon guidance, Creb signaling, ephrin receptor signaling, etc) are associated with depression in animal models and/or in human patients [37–39] (Fig 4A). This evidence concerns the gene CREB1 and major depressive disorder.
