NKILA, an NF-κB-interacting lncRNA, is determined for tumor-mediated T cell AICD (Activation-induced cell death) by inhibiting NF-κB activity, and NKILA overexpression in tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) is correlated with increased apoptosis and shorter survival in lung cancer and breast cancer [46].
