Worthy of note, TIA1 is the only RBP that suppresses the ability of cancer cells to escape immune response by enhancing NK cell cytotoxic activity (Zlobec et al., 2010; Liu Z. P. et al., 2017); also, CPEB4 is the only RBP that promotes genome instability by influencing chromatin-remodeling (Negrini et al., 2010; Zhong et al., 2015; He et al., 2017). This evidence concerns the gene CPEB4 and cancer.
