Following a 12-day oral LPS treatment, we observed a significant increase in hind-limb clasp score with the tail suspension test in the Thy1-αSyn, but did not observe more severe motor impairments in treated Thy1-αSyn or WT mice, contrary to prior studies utilizing LPS or Thy1-αSyn mice in the context of PD. This evidence concerns the gene THY1 and Parkinson disease.
