Particularly, in basal-type UBC, endothelial cells, stromal (SMA+ cancer associated fibroblast) cells and immune cells (including CD163+ macrophages, CD3+ T-cells and CD66b+ neutrophils) react to pSTAT3 (Figure 3C, Supplementary Figure S4), whereas in luminal-type UBC, pSTAT3 was limited to endothelial cells, rare T-cells and some macrophages.
