As shown in Fig 6D and 6E, NKILA did not further increase the apoptosis of S18 cells, nor did it reduce the migration and invasion of S18 cells, suggesting that role of NKILA in NPC cell lines is dependent on IκBα.Collectively, our data show that NKILA represses the progression of NPC by inhibition of NF-κB pathway (Fig 7).
