In conclusion, our findings showing that the CDK4/6 inhibitor palbociclib can suppress IgE-mediated mast cell activation in vitro and in vivo suggest that palbociclib is a potential therapeutic candidate for treating mast cell-mediated allergic diseases, including allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, and anaphylaxis [27, 28].
