The conventional diagnostic work-up for IgE-mediated food allergy begins with the clinical history, followed by in vivo and/or in vitro tests (Skin Prick Test (SPT) and/or specific IgE (sIgE) test) against the whole allergen source and usually ends with the OFC, which still remains the gold standard in diagnosing food allergies [2].
