The introduction of biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (bDMARDs) targeting cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) [7,8], the interleukin (IL)-6 receptor [9], co-stimulatory molecules of T-cells [10] or, other molecules of B-cells [11], has revolutionized RA management.
