Colony formation and transwell assays show that the increase in E2F1 expression could partially restore the proliferation and migration of SGC7901 and MGC803 cells with eIF3b inhibition; this indicates that the role of eIF3b in the proliferation and migration of gastric cancer cells was partially dependent on E2F1 (Fig. 4d, e). This evidence concerns the gene EIF3B and gastric cancer.
