Gallen Consensus [3] and the European Group on Tumor Markers (EGTM) [4] have endorsed use of Ki-67 in combination with established prognostic factors for determining prognosis, especially if values are low (e.g. < 10% of immunostained tumor cells) or high (e.g. > 25% cell staining). This evidence concerns the gene MKI67 and neoplasm.
