When comparing PDAC to BC in Table 1 we observed significant gender differences and significantly higher levels (all p-values <0.0001) for the following biochemical measures, albeit some within normal ranges: gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), total bilirubin, carbohydrate or cancer antigen 19–9 (CA19-9), and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM5 and breast cancer.
