We found that patients with soft tissue sarcoma with ages (χ2 = 11.426, p = 0.001) and sarcoma phenotypes (χ2 = 49.817, p = 0.000) exhibited reduced SR-B1 expression, whereas SR-B1 expression was not associated with gender (χ2 = 1.050, p = 0.305), ethnicity (χ2 = 0.000, p = 1.000), tumor diameter (χ2 = 0.366, p = 0.545) and tumor locations (χ2 = 6.704, p = 0.082). The gene discussed is SCARB1; the disease is neoplasm.
