Interestingly, the genes ACE, ADAMTS4 and CLNK, recently reported in three independent GWAS meta analysis publications109–111 were classified as Alzheimer’s disease-related genes with the corresponding probabilities 0.81, 0.93 and 0.88 while random forest did not classify them as Alzheimer’s disease-related genes. This evidence concerns the gene ACE and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
