Taken together, we conclude that the host lncRNA PCNAP1 enhances HBV replication through modulating miR-154/PCNA/HBV cccDNA signaling and the PCNAP1/PCNA signaling drives the hepatocarcinogenesis, implying that the elevated HBV by PCNAP1 may accelerate the hepatocarcinogenesis because the chronic infection of HBV is a leading cause of liver cancer. Here, PCNAP1 is linked to liver cancer.
