Our analysis suggests that BLCA patients can be treated with combinations that in many cases include erlotinib (an EGFR inhibitor, approved for the treatment of lung and pancreatic cancer), ramucirumab (an antibody against VEGFR2, approved for the treatment of colon cancer, adenocarcinoma of the stomach and lung cancer) and tamoxifen (an ERα inhibitor, approved for the treatment of breast cancer). Here, EGFR is linked to bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
