Tumors were isolated following sacrifice of mice at 14-days post-transplantation from another groups of mice with tumor burden, revealing lower IL-35 (560.7 ± 264.0 pg/mL vs. 4189 ± 694.1 pg/mL; P < 0.01) and higher levels of IL-6 levels (2278 ± 288.6 pg/mL vs. 1155 ± 244.2 pg/mL; P < 0.05) (Fig. 4b) in tumor homogenate from Fgl2−/− mice relative to those in WT mice. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and neoplasm.
