ADAM17 and neuroblastoma: This result is in line with a previous work reporting that carnosic acid—a compound derived from rosemary that is able to exert an antioxidant action activating Nrf2—increased the mRNA expression of ADAM17, but only marginally increased the mRNA expression of ADAM metallopeptidase domain 10 (ADAM10), suggesting that it reduces Aβ production by activating ADAM17 in human neuroblastoma cells [37].
