Next, we applied Kaplan–Meier analyses to determine the prognostic significance of TAZ/SOX2 co-expression in HNSCC and revealed that patients with TAZhighSOX2high expression had the worst prognosis as evidenced by the lowest overall survival among four subgroups categorized by TAZ and SOX2 expression (Fig. 6h). The gene discussed is WWTR1; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
