All the concentrations of inflammatory factors including IL-6, IL-18, TNF-α and CRP were significantly higher in PCOS group than the control group (n = 10, for IL-6, Z = -3.790; for IL-18, Z = -3.788; for TNF-α, Z = -3.790; for the comparison of CRP, Z = -3.781; for all of these, P < 0.001) (Fig. 2). The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is polycystic ovary syndrome.
