Endostatin is an antiangiogenesis agent that is found in human circulation[8,9] and was shown to be able to suppress tumor growth.[10] Endostar is a recombinant human endostatin that has a strong antiangiogenesis effect; furthermore, preclinical and clinical studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in treating various types of cancers.[11–13] Therefore, Endostar as a possible treatment for refractory NPC has been explored in NPC mice models and clinical trials.[13–15] In our clinical practice, Endostar also achieved remarkable effectiveness in refractory NPC treatment. Here, COL18A1 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
