Sialyl‐Tn antigen (Neu5Acα2‐6 GalNAcα‐O‐Ser/Thr, STn), the simple mucin‐type carbohydrate antigen, has attracted much research attention due to its abundant expression in the PDAC, ovarian, colorectal and most of the gastrointestinal carcinomas.2, 3, 4, 5 Furthermore, expression of STn antigen correlates with poor prognosis, whereas its expression is never found in the normal pancreas,6 which highlights STn antigen as a possible target for therapeutic intervention against PDAC progression. Here, EEF1A2 is linked to digestive system carcinoma.
