Fragments of erythrocyte membrane glycopeptide, thymosin beta-10 (TMSB10/PTMB10/THYB10), humanin (MT-RNR2/HN), aldehyde dehydrogenase family 3 member 1 (ALDH3A1/ALDH3), and tryptophan were identified protein fragments that were downregulated in CKD patients. This evidence concerns the gene ALDH3A1 and chronic kidney disease.
