We also found that the proteins encoded by MAK16, FUT10, and TTI2 are expressed in several cancer types, including urothelial cancer. Indeed, these proteins showed high/medium expression in 25%, 80%, and 100% of urothelial cancer patients tested, respectively (supplementary fig. 7, Supplementary Material online); data obtained from the Human Protein Atlas (Uhlén et al. 2015). The gene discussed is POFUT3; the disease is cancer.
