If no improvement is seen after 3–5 days of high dose steroids, a dose of infliximab (IFX), a tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) inhibitor, or occasionally vedolizumab, an antibody to α4β7-integrin which facilitates T-cell trafficking into the gut mucosa, have been successfully used to achieve a clinical resolution of the ICI-induced colitis [7–10]. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is colitis.
