CRP and tuberculosis: The indices which reflect the severity of lung lesion on the whole directly (the ratios of cavity, especially thick-walled cavity), and indirectly (weighted profusion scores, sputum bacterial loads), as well as the typical indices which reflect inflammatory status (CRP, counts of WBC, neutrophil, monocytes, etc.)all were significantly higher in M-TB15−74 than in F-TB15−74, but not in men with TB older than 75.
