Plasma levels of chemerin were significantly different between the nephropathy stages and appeared to increase with the progress of diabetic nephropathy (Normoalbuminuria: 97.69±40.27ng/ml, Microalbuminuria: 112.93 ± 43.40ng/ml, and Macroalbuminuria: 135.08±65.42 ng/ml, p < 0.01). Here, RARRES2 is linked to diabetic kidney disease.
