To further verify the role of the non-classical pathway Integrin αvβ3/ERK1/2/GLI1 in the peritoneal metastasis of gastric cancer in vivo, we used scattered cells from BGC823 MCAs and SGC7901 MCAs transduced with either shIntegrin β3#1, shGLI1#1, negative control shCon, or transduced with overexpression vector of GLI1, empty vector, or a blank control to construct a model of peritoneal metastasis of gastric cancer in nude mice (Fig. 5a). This evidence concerns the gene MAPK3 and gastric cancer.
