ARL4C and neoplasm: As statins and bisphosphonates are major candidates for inhibiting the mevalonate pathway and for decreasing the downstream prenylation of substrates, drug repositioning targeting ARL4C with statins and bisphosphonates may be useful against ARL4C overexpression in OCCC, at least during the post-operative follow-up periods, when it is not possible to clinically detect any apparent tumor mass.
