Some molecular targeting agents such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) inhibitors, which have been found to provide high response rate in patients with EGFR or ALK mutations [3,4], dramatically changed the treatment strategy for advanced NSCLC.
