PAI‐1 as a tissue plasminogen (t‐PA) inhibitor that has an important role in thrombotic disorders and increased PAI‐1 concentration can be associated with placental damage through aberration in coagulation and fibrinolysis (Coulam, Wallis, Weinstein, DasGupta, & Jeyendran, 2008).
