Cackowski et al. [36] demonstrated that MERTK, one of TAM family of receptor tyrosine kinases, being knockdown could induce a G0/G1 arrest in prostate cancer cells via increasing expression of NR2F1 and ratio of p38 to pERK1/2, which was reversed by p38 inhibitor. Here, NTRK1 is linked to Familial prostate cancer.
