EGFR and pancreatic neoplasm: A recent study has highlighted the high tumor uptake, rapid blood clearance and low liver uptake of a 99mTc‐labeled NB as an imaging probe for epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) positive tumors.16 This receptor, which is involved in many cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation and cell survival, represents a crucial target in oncology as it is overexpressed and/or deregulated in a variety of solid tumors, including head and neck, breast, non‐small‐cell lung and pancreatic cancer.
